Inner Vision Portraits - Custom Painted Portraits

Possibility Portrait Prices

Inner Vision “Possibility Portraits” make beautiful, meaningful gifts for important life passages such as weddings, birthdays, bar/bat mitzvahs, divorce, anniversaries, retirement, & memorials for loved ones who have passed on.

And of course they’re also powerful supports for your own journey…

“Pam’s process helped us visualize who we are for each other at our best.
Her painting joyfully reminds us of this with each gaze.”

– Sara and Michael Culotta, Ithaca NY

The Process

“Possibility Portraits” are hand painted in egg tempera and embossed gold leaf on wood panels with calligraphic lettering, just as Renaissance altarpieces and Byzantine icons were made hundreds of years ago. They are designed to be “magic mirrors” that show who you are at heart, why you love one another, and what’s possible.

All Portraits include the Heart of the Matter Interview. In this valuable, fun conversation we uncover who you are at heart and why you are here (or what’s at the heart of your relationship). We also explore your memories, dreams, and deep associations for visual images that convey this for you.

Your Heart of the Matter Interview can take place in person (my studio is in Ithaca, New York, USA) or over the telephone from anywhere in the world. Conference calls arranged for couple and family/group portraits. The Interview is included in the portrait price (which varies with the type of portrait, below), and is essential to the portrait process.

Since I work from photographs, there is no need for sittings or travel.

My guarantee: if you’re not delighted with your portrait, return it for a full refund — up to a year after receiving it. Other artists tell me I’m crazy to offer such a generous guarantee, since the portrait process takes considerable time & care on my part, & I can’t ever resell such a personalized work of art. But I offer it anyway, for two reasons:

  1. I want you to be completely satisfied with every aspect of our relationship. If there’s ever a problem, I’ll listen & do my best to solve it. If I can’t, I’d far rather cheerfully refund your money than have a dissatisfied customer.

  2. I’m convinced that not only will you be delighted with your portrait, over time it will help you transform your life. If I’m wrong, I’ll pay you back! I take all the risk out of making a commission.
